Orange Belt Mineralogical Society (OBMS) - established in 1933. A non-profit club of rock enthusiasts who hunt for rocks, develop their lapidary skills, and fabricate jewelry and rock artifacts in a workshop in San Bernardino, California. We organize hunts for rocks and teach lapidary, wire wrapping, silversmithing, and lost wax casting skills. You can make a cabachon on your first visit.

Want to check out OBMS?
OBMS members have a BBQ on the 2nd Saturday of every month. This is a good time to come on down and tour the workshop. You can start working with stone, on a nice piece of jewelry or that rock you've been meaning to cut while enjoying some good food with good people.
Bring a favorite dish that you know everyone will like and maybe even a friend. Enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere of fellow rock hounds. Like always, donations are welcome.
